Acadian Days in Grand-Pré is an annual festival with the mission of bringing together a large number of Acadians to celebrate and share their culture and history with tourists and the local community at the world's most renowned Acadian memorial site: Grand-Pré.
Pointe Noire
Monologue (10 minutes)
Under the willows at the Grand-Pré National Historic Site
Pointe Noire is a 10-minute monologue presented in both English and French. It conveys the significance of the Grand-Pré memorial site and the Deportation Cross located at Pointe Noire (Horton Landing), not far from the main site. The story is told from the perspective of Marie LeBlanc, who lived in Grand-Pré before and during the Deportation.

VISIT GRAND-PRÉ
Discover powerful Acadian stories within a picturesque landscape.
Successes and struggles are illuminated through multimedia presentation and engaging displays, a splendid Victorian garden and a Memorial Church. The site is a monument to Acadian culture and deportation.

From Route 101, take Exit 10 towards Wolfville.
Follow Route 1 in a westerly direction for one kilometer, then turn right (head north) for another kilometer to 2205 Grand-Pré Road.
